Project Overview

The Kellyville Ridge project involved the design of a contemporary two-storey new dwelling created to provide generous, functional and comfortable family living spaces.

ANS Design developed the home with a strong focus on practical planning, natural light and the connection between indoor and outdoor areas. The design includes spacious open-plan living areas, a modern kitchen with a large island bench, multiple entertainment spaces, well-appointed bedrooms, contemporary bathrooms and a landscaped backyard with a swimming pool.

The completed dwelling balances everyday functionality with lifestyle-focused design, creating a modern family home suited to its Kellyville Ridge setting.

Design Objectives

Create a Functional Family Home – Design a practical new dwelling with well-planned spaces that support comfortable day-to-day family living.

Maximise Space and Natural Light – Develop a layout that makes effective use of the site while providing generous rooms, open-plan living areas and strong connections to natural light.

Support Indoor–Outdoor Living – Create a seamless relationship between the internal living areas, outdoor entertaining spaces, landscaped backyard and swimming pool.

Provide Dedicated Lifestyle Spaces – Include flexible areas for relaxation and entertaining, such as the home theatre, spacious kitchen, family living areas and recreation room.

Achieve a Cohesive Contemporary Design – Deliver a modern residential design with a consistent architectural character, practical circulation and a high-quality overall finish.

Support the Approval and Documentation Process – Prepare clear documentation for the relevant Kellyville Ridge, The Hills Shire Council and NSW planning approval pathways.
